Fashionable News: DVF Comes to Gilt

Today brings something new, or at least something I have never seen. Diane von Furstenberg on Gilt.com. I’ve been a Gilt member for at least a year now and this is news to me.

Never heard of Gilt? Gilt.com is a membership website (no fees, just a sign up) where you can get designer clothing and accessories at deep discounts. Gilt.com also has shopping for Men, Home, Baby&Kids, Food/Drink, and Travel. The concept is the New York sample sale online. My favorite thing about the website are the ‘Final Sales’ that take place maybe 3-4 times a year. Basically at the end of every season. You can find some incredible deals at these. I saw a Philip Lim 3.1 dress, that I would very much had liked to own, for $40. Another great feature is if you go to a sale they are having and something you really like is sold out, you can waitlist it and Gilt.com will contact you when it is available. Here’s a few things I’ve purchased from Gilt.com.

The first is a dress by Cynthia Vincent that I wore to Nashville Fashion Week. The second is a silk dress by Geren Ford. If you’re interested in joining Gilt.com, let me refer you!
