The Real Deal: The Boyfriend Jean

A personal quest of mine. To find a pair of boyfriend jeans that don’t add 20 pounds. Is it possible? Maybe, maybe not. But I can at least shoot for more affordable. I’ve had my eye on the boyfriend jeans from Current/Elliot for some time now. You can check them out here. I keep seeing other bloggers styling these jeans and it’s given me total outfit envy. No envy over the price, though. At over 200.00, the Current/Elliot jeans are just too pricey to gamble with. So, I searched for a more affordable but still stylish option in this latest Real Deal.

Gap Jeans for the win! While a slightly darker wash than the Current/Elliot jeans, the boyfriend style from Gap still offers the same fit and distressed look. And while 79.95 isn’t that cheap to me, I think it’s the right price if you want a pair of jeans that can hold a candle to the quality of Current/Elliot.
